Some information on Global Air Virtual

Originally Global Air was founded in 1999 as "Global Delivery Service". Therefore we used the ICAO "GDS". We started as a local Airline HQ in McKinney, TX, USA and we were servicing the whole state of Texas mainly with charter and cargo transport. Over time the airline grew and we added regular scheduled passenger service as well. We gradually expanded state by state until we serviced all of the US in late 2000.

In 2001 we added some international flights like Franfurt, Heathrow, Hongkong, Dubai, Kapetown and Rio. In 2006 we rebranded our company to Global Air Virtual, started a website, our own TS server as well as Acars Server with Airline management.

In the years 2009 to 2012 we had experienced multiple hack attacks with devastating result that led to the closure of all webservices. During that period we also lost most of our pilots due to our limitations. After moving to Europe we reestablished the airline under the name of Global Air Services, IATA of GN (for Global Network) and ICAO of GDS. The Global Network (or Global Air Services) consists of Global Air Service, Global Cargo Services, Global Express and Global Lease. Global Air is for passenger flights worldwide, Global Cargo is for Cargo and Humanitarian flights, Global Express is our commuter service within the area of our hubs and is operated by Global Express and Partner Airlines, Global lease is were you can lease one of our offered aircrafts. Our headquater is in Eindhoven Netherlands and main hub in Amsterdam.

We have additional hubs in Dallas USA, Dubai and Seoul and keep expanding our fleet. All of our hubs have a/c maintenance and storage facilities. We made it our mission to give each pilot an environment where they can practice their hobby without restrictions and the possibillity to also engage in airline management. We also strive to supply all tool neccessary to make this a fun experience.
